The Craft Daft meets each Tuesday (except during holidays) between 10:00am and 12:00pm in the Cumbrae Hall.
The group has undertaken many projects which includes a number of banners which now enhance the walls in the Church. The first these was the Celtic Cross Banner made up of words, followed by a series of advent banners depicting the Christmas story.
The group has created banners celebrating milestones for the Guild, Girl Guiding and the 30th Anniversary of the Union of Old Gourock & Ashton. Their latest project was Welcome Banners marking the 250th Anniversary of Gourock Parish. Members also make items for church fêtes and fundraising events, while continuing to sew, cross-stitch, crochet and knit, including hats for premature babies and blankets for Compassionate Inverclyde.
